Melbourne School introduces Rutherford High School in Rutherford, for all your education and learning needs.

Rutherford Technology High School is located in the lower Hunter Valley, catering for approximately 900 city and rural students. Facilities include computer laboratories in each key learning area (KLA), an air-conditioned sound-proof music recording studio and a modern agricultural farm. As part of the Priority Schools' Program, the school implements literacy, numeracy and technology programs to strengthen the learning outcomes of senior and junior students. As a technology high school, we endeavour to foster life-long learning through using computer technology integrated into teaching and learning, encouraging a problem-solving approach, and valuing technology as a tool to support learning. Students are encouraged to use higher order thinking skills to find multiple solutions to problems to produce quality work.
