Melbourne School introduces Kids Retreat in Keilor, for all your education and learning needs.

Kids Retreat operates above the statutory staff/child ratios and is an extremely well resourced centre that implements current practices based on research.

With dedicated and committed staff who participate in ongoing professional development, the centre offers a warm, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Our centre takes babies through to pre-school with four rooms. A 0 -2 year room, 2-3 year room, 3-4 year room with a qualified Kindergarten teacher and a 4-5 year old room which is a registered Kindergarten providing an all day Kindergarten program run by a qualified Kindergarten Teacher.

Kids Retreat has a private kindergarten for children who turn four prior to the 30th of April. The kindergarten facilitates an all day program which is implemented by a qualified kindergarten teacher. The kindergarten program incorporates a variety of curriculum areas such as social sciences, art, maths, music, science, movement and language. Each curriculum area focuses on developing and fostering specific concepts. Each area is incorporated into the program through relevant activities with specific objectives which relate to a child's development. The program also facilitates children's interests through a project approach, emergent curriculum and program inclusion.
