Welcome to Bull Creek Primary School - Striving for Excellence in Partnership with Our Community
At Bull Creek Primary School we aim to ensure our students and parents feel welcome and have a strong sense of identification with the school. We value the contribution of our students and the involvement of parents in our school.
Bull Creek is a residential suburb established in the early 1970's with the school being opened in 1975. The school population is multicultural, although its background is predominantly Australian/European. Respect for other cultures and respect for all school community members is an important part of the values and beliefs held at Bull Creek Primary School.
Parents have high expectations for their children, both academically and socially. The support parents give through P&C, School Council and individually, reflect the value placed on education. The commitment of parents to the school complements the commitment of staff and leads to high level academic and social outcomes for students.
The school prides itself on looking to the future and the community has contributed significantly to the resources and facilities. Community support and a commitment by staff to the Department of Education's Classroom's First strategy ensures a positive and progressive school climate.
Steeped in history, Bull Creek Primary School is one of the popular school in the Bull Creek area. Our aim is clear and present in all aspects of the school. Respect, Compassion and Resilience are some of the qualities demonstrated towards the personal attributes we strive to gain and display in our community.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
