Melbourne School introduces Green Hill Public School in West Kempsey, for all your education and learning needs.
Green Hill Public School is a small rural school within the town of Kempsey. Our school houses a majority of students and staff of Aboriginal descent. The students range from Kindergarten to Year 2. We are extremely proud of the famous Aboriginal works of art, artefacts and murals that line the walls and have been painted by community members and students. Walking around the school you will hear and see students reciting and singing in the Dunghutti and Gumbaygnirr languages. The school respects the Aboriginal culture and believes that education will help develop and enhance respect, pride and promote Reconciliation.Welcome to Green Hill Public School one of the popular educators in your West Kempsey area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
