St Augustine's Catholic Primary School, Rivervale was established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1952 and passed on to the Presentation Sisters in 1956. We are a coeducational school providing primary education to approximately 220 children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school is an integral part of the St Augustine's Parish and there is a very close relationship between the parish and our school.

Founded in the traditions of the Presentation Sisters, St Augustine’s is a welcoming Catholic school community committed to fostering total faith-life development. Our children are nurtured and encouraged to reach their full potential in an environment fostering respect, responsibility, tolerance and self-worth.

The motto ‘For God and Country’ charges those within the school community to service, service for God and service for others. There is the call to bring the living Jesus to each and every situation.
